Martha lives in Bryant Pond with her husband and two children. She spends her free time outdoors enjoying the four seasons of Maine.
Attorney Martha McLean
Prior to founding McLean Law, Martha was an associate at Hanley and Associates in South Paris, where she gained a broad range of legal and trial experience and specialized in estate planning.
She also worked at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic in Portland, where she represented low income clients in a variety of cases, including divorce, protection from abuse, criminal defense, and immigration.
Martha earned her JD from the University of Maine School of Law. She has a Masters in Education from the University of Southern Maine and a Bachelors degree from Villanova University. She is fluent in Spanish and Danish and has lived in Central America, Europe and the Middle East.
Martha is the President of the Board of the Oxford County Cooperative Extension and Vice President of the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine. She served for ten years as a volunteer for Androscoggin Home Health and Hospice.
Prior to earning her law degree, Martha was a compassionate and energetic teacher at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. Martha began her professional career as an instructor at the Hurricane Island Outward Bound School, where she specialized in conflict resolution and mediation with at-risk youth.
